Striding to Find a Cure
Pink became the company's power color when AIT partnered with the American
Cancer Society in 2000 to wage the war against breast cancer in the first
annual Making Strides Against Breast CancerĀ® (MSABC) walk in Chicago. In 2001,
AIT became flagship sponsors for the event, which takes place every October
during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and was designed to heighten
awareness, foster camaraderie, and raise funds for breast cancer research,
patient services, education and advocacy.
In the seven years since AIT's relentless crusade to fight for a cure began, the
company has made a sizeable footprint on the walk site with a team of
enthusiastic walkers representing the organization's compassion, generosity and
pledge to eradicate breast cancer.
While deeply moved by both the testimonials of survival and the network of
solace and support this event fosters every year, AIT's fight against breast
cancer is a daily one. To date, AIT has raised in excess of $224,000 through
unique year-round internal and external fundraising projects, including "Making
Cents of Cancer."

Supporting America's Gold Medal Dreams
AIT's interest in the sport of curling was sparked during the 2002 Olympic
Winter Games in Salt Lake City. In 2004, AIT officially began supporting
America's gold medal dreams by entering into a sponsorship agreement with the
United States Curling Association. Serving as the Official Cargo Carrier for
the organization, AIT has coordinated the mass transport of everything from
time clocks to 672-pound sets of curling rocks for all USA curling
championships. AIT was proud to stand behind these American athletes in the
2006 Winter Games in Torino, Italy, as the U.S. men's curling team went on to
defeat Great Britain with a score of 8-6 to win the bronze medal.
